TORONTO, Jan. 12, 2012 /CNW/ - With only three days to go until the dinner party of the year, the menu is set with an appetizer of red carpet arrivals, before a roast is served courtesy of three-time host Ricky Gervais. This year's award season officially begins with THE 69TH ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE® AWARDS, airing live across the country Sunday, January 15 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV (visit ctv.ca to confirm local listings). With GOLDEN GLOBE® recipient Ricky Gervais back at centre stage, even the "sexiest men alive" aren't safe from this Brit's biting brand of humour and no-holds-barred comments.
Leading up to the main course, CTV Two and E! serve up all the red carpet glamour, including the red hot arrivals, fashion hits and misses, and interviews with the night's biggest stars. Celebrity destination E! kicks things off at 5 p.m. ET with COUNTDOWN TO THE RED CARPET: THE 2012 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS, followed by LIVE FROM THE RED CARPET: THE 2012 GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS at 6 p.m. ET.
