Get Healthy With Calgary Co-op
CALGARY, Jan. 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Monday, January 30, marks the launch of the 2012 Calgary Co-op Whole Health Challenge. "This year, we've made some exciting changes to the Whole Health Challenge that will increase participation and encourage people to make healthy choices by offering great prizes to reward their efforts," says Sarah Boutron, manager of events and promotions for Calgary Co-op. "The free 10-week program will give participants the chance to complete four different challenges, as well as a final challenge which will encompass the entire Whole Health Challenge event." All of the challenges offer great prizes, including four grand prizes of unlimited boot camp for a year for two from FRESH! Fitness.
"FRESH! is proud to be a part of this great program," says Tim Borys, President and CEO of FRESH! Wellness Group, and gold sponsor of the Whole Health Challenge. "With the rising obesity epidemic and a largely sedentary population, well-run programs like the Calgary Co-op Whole Health Challenge are a breath of fresh air and a great benefit to people searching for a way to make healthy changes in their lifestyle."
"The Calgary Co-op Whole Health Challenge allows people to participate within their comfort level," says Colin Kuefler, regional manager for Johnson Insurance, second of the gold sponsors of the Whole Health Challenge. "We recognize that not everyone wants to train for a marathon, so even small changes make a big difference in a person's journey towards better health."
