Get Out and Plant Trees! Join us for Ontario's Community Planting Weekend!
TORONTO, April 23, 2012 /CNW/ - On May 5th, Trees Ontario, CAA South Central Ontario, and local planting partners will host nine free community tree planting events across the province.
Hosted by CAA South Central Ontario and Trees Ontario, this annual Community Planting Weekend gathers together families, volunteers and CAA members to take part in a half day tree planting activity, which promotes community engagement and environmental action.
Support your community in a local reforestation project and learn about trees, shade and green urban spaces.

Events are held rain or shine. Bring a shovel, gardening gloves and lots of energy! We will supply the rest - the trees, forestry specialists, mulch and snacks. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes (steel toe if possible), a hat and sunscreen. Parking will be available.
