TSX-V: GGG, OTCQB: GPHBF
NEW YORK, March 30, 2015 /CNW/ - Graphene 3D Lab Inc. (TSX-V: GGG)(OTCQB: GPHBF) ("Graphene 3D") is pleased to announce that it has begun retailing Taulman 3D Nylon 680 filament on March 30, 2015. The filament is designed for use in a wide range of industries, including medical and dental research, food processing, and robotics. Nylon 680 is compatible with sterilization procedures widely used in laboratory settings, has FDA approval for indirect food contact, and is designed to have superior strength and physical attributes when compared to consumer-grade materials currently on the market; 680's specifications are highly desired by industry and hobbyists alike. Exclusive distribution rights for Nylon 680 are granted to Graphene 3D in the US, Canada, and Mexico, and are related to a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Taulman 3D, announced November 25, 2014. The MOU outlines both companies collaboration in the development and distribution of 3D printing materials.
Nylon 680 3D printing filament is to be distributed on Graphene 3D Lab's web store and retail brand, Black Magic 3D (www.blackmagic3d.com).
Graphene 3D CEO Dr. Daniel Stolyarov commented, "The sale of Nylon 680 in North America will allow Graphene 3D to expand upon a strong selection of specialty 3D printing materials being retailed via Black Magic 3D. The high strength and sterilization compatibility offered by this material makes it particularly exciting for a host of emerging applications, including in cutting-edge research environments."
Taulman 3D CEO, Thomas Martzall, commented, "Nylon 680 combines great mechanical properties with unique features. Our team has worked hard to ensure that this material meets the specifications required by leading industrial players, and we are glad to now offer it commercially through the Black Magic 3D brand."
