In conjunction with this exciting Trash Talkin' venture, Glad will be running an exciting consumer promotion, created by Hunter Straker. From August 30th until October 25th, consumers visiting Glad.ca can enter to win weekly draws for a $500 gift card to a retailer of their choice.
"Glad is synonymous in this country with Trash. We wanted to create something that had the right balance between fun, engagement and a reason to go online. But that's not the only thing—one lucky hockey fan is about to win a prize they will not soon forget. Also on Glad.ca, fans can enter to win "The Ultimate Toronto Hockey Experience", which includes a VIP night for the winner and three friends. This Ultimate Prize will give the winners a chance to get up front and personal, and do some Trash Talkin' of their own, with a true legend of the game - Wendel Clark. The winners will be flown into Toronto, and will have the chance to go for dinner, watch some hockey, and get to do whatever Trash Talkin' they choose with Wendel.
"Wendel is one the most popular athletes of all time in not only the city of Toronto, but the entire hockey world across Canada. He commands respect every time he walks into a room, and is one of the most approachable, easy going athletes, with a unique perspective on life and the game. He was the perfect fit for this ultimate cannot buy type of experience for Glad Consumers" said Matthew Diamond, Partner and Managing Director of Hunter Straker.
The promotion runs from September 1st to November 23rd.
