Glenfiddich® Surpasses $600,000 in Funds Donated To Wounded Warriors Canada Since 2013

TORONTO, Nov. 28, 2017 /CNW/ - Glenfiddich^® Single Malt Scotch Whisky presented Wounded Warriors Canada with a donation of $135,000.00 CDN on November 27, 2017. The event marked a five year partnership that has raised $638,040 CDN - A Brave Commitment To Canada's Heroes And Their Families. Glenfiddich has raised a total of $690,000 CDN since 2012 from other fund-raising initiatives.

Wounded Warriors Canada is registered in Canada as a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to supporting our ill & injured Canadian armed forces military members, veterans and their families. In 2016 alone, Wounded Warriors Canada delivered over $1.5 million in direct, front line programs and services that went to aid those suffering from the effects of PTSD.

For more than 10 years, Wounded Warriors Canada has provided hope and dignity to nearly 1500 Canadian veterans and their families through the generosity of their partners, Canadian donors and volunteers. Over the past five years, Glenfiddich^® has donated $2.00 from the sale of each bottle of Glenfiddich 15-year-old Unique Solera Reserve sold in Canada to Wounded Warriors Canada. 

Being family run has given Glenfiddich flexibility to do things a little differently. Including the ability to identify and react to the growing need of support of Canadian families of veterans and frontline workers suffering from PTSD following their dedication of service for our country.
