Surpassing Goal at First Year Milestone of Partnership
VANCOUVER, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - GLENTEL Inc., a national mobile phone retailer and wireless solutions provider, today announced that it surpassed its goal and raised $701,228 during the first year of a multi-year partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society, British Columbia & Yukon. GLENTEL is on target to exceed its fundraising goal of $1.5 million over three years.

"With over 173,000 new cases of cancer in Canada expected this year, GLENTEL is focused on continuing our partnership with the Society and working to educate and inform others on cancer prevention."
As part of a multi-year partnership, the Society will continue to provide quarterly workshops and information sessions about cancer prevention and the importance of early detection and screening, to educate GLENTEL employees, partners and customers across Canada.
