Global Dividend Fund Declares Special Distribution

TORONTO, Oct. 7, 2016 /CNW/ - (TSX: GDP.UN) – Global Dividend Fund (the "Fund") announced today a special distribution $4.10 per unit  payable on October 25, 2016 to unitholders of record on October 21, 2016 (the "Special Distribution").   The Special Distribution is being made in conjunction with the previous announcement of the termination and/or redemption of all outstanding units of the Fund. 

The Special Distribution equals approximately 92% of the net asset per unit of the Fund as at October 6, 2016 of  $4.463.  The Fund will make a final distribution of the remaining net asset value per unit after setting the final Valuation Date for the Fund.
