Global Egg Corporation Helps Tim Horton Children's Foundation Build Brighter Futures for More Deserving Youth

ST. GEORGE, ON, Oct. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - Longstanding Tim Horton Children's Foundation supporter Global Egg Corporation (EggSolutions) makes a five-year incremental commitment towards new camp development in addition to their generous annual contributions.

Global Egg produces liquid and frozen pasteurized egg products for the commercial, industrial and food service markets and supplies many of the country's leading food manufacturers and food service companies, including Tim Hortons. For the past eight years, the company has made significant financial gifts towards the Foundation's food program and attended a variety of special events, including the invitational golf tournament and gala.

As one of the organization's major partners, Global Egg Corporation has shown outstanding dedication to the Foundation and their plans to serve more low-income children through the opening of a new facility in Manitoba, the Foundation's seventh camp in North America. With the help of Tim Hortons restaurant owners, Foundation friends and corporate partners, like Global Egg Corporation, the Foundation will provide memorable and enriching camp experiences for more than 16,000 economically disadvantaged children this year.

A Foundation camp experience is an opportunity for a child to gain valuable life skills in a nurturing environment. Participating in challenging activities during their time at camp inspires these children and youth to set personal goals and reach new heights. The campers receive encouragement from dedicated staff and in turn develop confidence in their abilities and learn to take pride in their accomplishments. Many of our campers return home as more caring, responsible and motivated individuals.
