CALGARY, June 3 /CNW/ - Global Energy Services Ltd. ("Global") (GLK - TSX Venture) is pleased to announce that Rex Brigan has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Operations effective immediately. In his new role, Rex will be responsible for all operations in both the communications and production services divisions of the company. Communications also includes Global Energy USA, our operation based in Houston that covers the Continental USA and the Gulf of Mexico.

Rex has been with Global for over ten years where he started as a field technician. During the past six years he has served as the General Manager of Communications and has been the representative to several of our key clients gaining valuable experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining the company, he worked in a variety of roles in operations in the oil services sector where he gained extensive industry experience.
