Global Health Clinics Ltd announces Dr. Janey Hailey to its team of physicians

VANCOUVER, Nov. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - Global Health Clinics Ltd. (the "Company") (CSE: MJRX) (Frankfurt: L002) announces the addition of Dr. Janey Hailey to its team of physicians. Dr. Hailey is a Consultant Pediatrician and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

Born in Toronto, she attended Stanford University and the University of California at Berkeley, where she earned a BA in Psychology and an Elementary School teaching credential. After teaching for two years, she moved to London, England, to begin premedical studies. She also received her medical degree from the University of Cambridge in England. She returned to Canada to complete her Pediatric residency at the University of British Columbia and became a General Pediatric consultant in 1992. She still has an active, busy practice. From 1995 – 2009, she wrote and narrated a regular medical column on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) radio, discussing a wide variety of medical topics.

With the addition of Dr. Janey, we are able to service children under the age of 18, mainly assisting children with seizure disorders, autism, and ADD/ADHD. Global Health Clinics Ltd is now one of the only speciality clinic groups in Canada that now has a pediatrician on staff. This also allows us to provide support, education and guidance for this underserviced demographic.
