TORONTO, Sept. 21, 2016 /CNW/ - Audiences continued to turn out in droves for Global's new fall primetime lineup. Global was the most-watched network of Tuesday night with the #1, #2, and #3 top series (2+), buoyed by breakout new hit series Bull. Grabbing the bull by the horns, overnight data confirms Bull locked in over 2 million viewers (2+), becoming the top series of the night across all key demos and making it the #1 premiere this season to date. Starring NCIS alumni Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull, the new series surpassed the competition, including CTV's This Is Us, besting their audience (2+) by 71%.
Global's powerhouse NCIS franchise also captured impressive audiences last night as 1.9 million viewers (2+) tuned into the NCIS premiere and 1.3 million viewers (2+) for NCIS: New Orleans. Overall, Global's primetime lineup brought in nearly double the audience of CTV.
