GLOBAL MINERALS ANNOUNCES PROPOSED INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS
VANCOUVER, Nov. 3 /CNW/ - Global Minerals Ltd. (CTG: TSX-V) ("Global or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Ron Little, President and CEO of Orezone Gold Corporation and Mr. Scott Brundson, Independent Financial Consultant, have agreed to stand for election as directors at the Company's Annual and Special Meeting to be held on December 3, 2010.
Ron Little is a Geologist and Professional Engineer and the founder of Orezone Gold Corporation. He has more than twenty years of experience at senior levels, mine operations, mine development, project finance and exploration. Mr. Little has spent the last 15 years focused on African projects and was responsible for over $1.2B of transactions with the predecessor company Orezone Resources Inc. Mr. Little has held directorships with other public and private companies and held senior operating positions in both major and junior gold producing companies.
Scott M. Brunsdon has over 27 years of experience in the mining industry. He is currently an independent financial consultant to a number of junior and emerging mining companies. In addition he is an independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Hunt Mining Corp. (TSX.V).
Mr. Brunsdon has held senior positions with a number of public and private mining companies including Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and Treasurer for Placer Dome US Inc., Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Placer Dome North America Ltd., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dayton Mining Corporation, Vice President Finance and Corporate Development of Hillsborough Resources Limited, and Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Revett Minerals Inc. Mr. Brunsdon has also had considerable experience selling precious metals, copper concentrates and molybdenum in the global metals industry.
Mr. Brunsdon holds an MBA (Finance and Accounting) from the University of British Columbia (1983), and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from the University of Saskatchewan (1979). Mr. Brunsdon currently resides in Liberty Lake, Washington, U.S.A.

Esperanza Resources Corp. has made a strategic investment in Global Minerals Ltd. The investment will ultimately yield Esperanza, subject to shareholder approval, a 36.4% equity interest in Global.
