Global RESP Corporation announces new CEO, David Prestwich
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Jan. 8, 2015 /CNW/ - Global is pleased to announce that Mr. David Prestwich has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer, Global RESP Corporation (GRESP) and Global Growth Assets Inc. (GGAI) effective January 5, 2015.* Mr. Prestwich will be instrumental in repositioning Global's reputation and brand in the marketplace. His varied experience, broad knowledge and foresight in financial services will ensure his success in these new positions.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, Mr. Prestwich will be responsible for a strong culture of corporate governance and compliance.
Mr. Prestwich brings over 30 years of financial services experience to Global. For the last 5 years, he has been operating his own consulting business specializing in project management for various financial entities. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Global Maxfin Capital Inc. He has also held several other senior executive positions within the investment dealer community.
Mr. Prestwich has served on several industry-related committees including IIROC Ontario District Council, IIAC Small Dealers Committee and IIROC FAS and FAS Operations Sub Committee.
