Global RESP Corporation (GRESP) awards $20,000 Education Savings Plan to contest winner

RICHMOND HILL, ON, Oct. 21, 2014 /CNW/ - On Monday, October 20^th, Global RESP Corporation (GRESP) conducted its annual contest draw for a $20,000 Education Savings Plan at the company's Richmond Hill head office.

The $20,000 prize is awarded to one lucky beneficiary who has submitted a ballot either online or through one of GRESP's many Dealing Representatives across Canada. This contest was intended to jump-start a child's education and to help turn dreams into reality, which forms the very backbone of the company's mandate.

The contest draw was attended by Global's head office staff and Dealing Representatives, who have been diligently collecting entry ballots for the last year. The event was covered by local media such as Mix TV and TV Pakistan. The mayor of Richmond Hill, Dave Barrow, was the honoured special guest who helped to select the winning ballot and the recipient of the $20,000 Education Savings Plan.

Every year, three ballots are drawn. In the case that we are unable to contact the first winner, the prize defaults to the second winner and then to the third winner. This year, our winner is Josh Panchoo from Mississauga, Ontario. The second and third winners are Rogue Glasbeek from Edmonton, Alberta and Manroop Kaur from Brampton, Ontario, respectively. Congratulations!
