TORONTO, July 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Big Brother showed no signs of slowing down last night as Global's smash summer hit beat out the competition and won the night (Nat. 2+, Ind) with more than 1.7 million viewers. Up from last week's impressive season premiere, Big Brother performed equally well in the key A18-49 demographic, winning the night nationally and in all four key major markets.
BIG BROTHER SEASON 14 DATA HIGHLIGHTS (All data Adults 18-49):
- Won the night nationally in the key Adults 18-49 demo with 1.1 million viewers
- Increased in audience since last Thursday's premiere nationally by 14%
- Won the night in all four major markets
- Increased in audience in Toronto by 18%, Vancouver by 11% and Edmonton by 12%

Big Brother returns to primetime this Wednesday, July 18 - 8pm ET/PT for the Power of Veto competition and then on Thursday, July 19 - 9pm ET/PT for the second houseguest eviction.
