Global's hole in one! 2010 Masters audience grows 60%
OVER NINE MILLION VIEWERS TUNE INTO THE TWO-DAY LIVE BROADCAST
TORONTO, April 12 /CNW/ - Global Television's broadcast of the 2010 Masters Tournament on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 had a total reach of 9 million viewers tuning in at some point during the two-day broadcast. The most highly-anticipated sporting event of the spring averaged 1.4 million viewers (Ind 2+, national) - an increase of 60% over 2009's coverage.
This year, Phil Mickelson's emotional victory was his third Masters win.
