GMP Capital reports voting results from annual meeting

TORONTO, May 2, 2014 /CNW/ - GMP Capital Inc. (GMP) (TSX:GMP) today announced the voting results from its annual meeting of common shareholders (Annual Meeting) held on Thursday, May 1, 2014, in accordance with Toronto Stock Exchange requirements. A total of 50,129,699 common shares representing 67.53% of GMP's issued and outstanding common shares were voted in connection with the election of directors at the Annual Meeting. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business put forth at the meeting including the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as external auditors of GMP, and the election of all director nominees as follows:
