GO is making it easier to zip down to Niagara this season
TORONTO, May 18, 2010 /CNW/ - Starting Friday, May 21, GO Transit will begin offering seasonal weekend train service allowing passengers to zip between Toronto and Niagara Falls once again this summer.
GO has partnered with a variety of Niagara Region tourist and recreation establishments to offer a weekly "Zip & Win Wednesday" contest.
On the first day of service and every week until Labour Day weekend, GO will announce weekly Zip & Win Wednesday contest draws that will offer a variety of Niagara Region entertainment packages.
The prize each week will be unique and can include a variety of things from overnight accommodations, theatre tickets, restaurant gift certificates, amusement park passes and round-trip tickets. To enter, visit gotransit.com and answer the skill-testing question.
This seasonal weekend train service provides an easy way to trade a weekend in the busy city for a weekend in Niagara Falls, or head downtown to enjoy a weekend adventure in Toronto. With stops in Toronto, Port Credit, Oakville, Burlington, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls taking this service also takes a scenic tour through other great day or weekend getaway destinations in the GTA.
GO is pleased to be offering service to Niagara again this season. Nearly 50,000 passengers enjoyed our inaugural service last summer and this season's contest is one more reason for passengers to give the service a try. More information about the Niagara Falls weekend GO Train service, including schedules and fares is available online at gotransit.com.
