TORONTO, Aug. 19, 2010 /CNW/ - GO is pleased to run extra service to the CNE, starting Friday, August 20 until Labour Day on Monday, September 6, 2010. This extra train service will also be available for the Canadian International Air Show on the Labour Day weekend for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
To make it easier for passengers wanting to visit the EX, GO will once again be selling CNE tickets and passes at all Lakeshore GO stations and Union Station.
For this year's Warriors' Day Parade on Saturday, August 21, GO will offer free transportation for veterans and one companion. GO Transit values the sacrifice of our war veterans and it is an honour to recognize their valour. Veterans or family members are asked to please wear your medals, beret, uniform or something else that proudly identifies you. Immediate families of late veterans with an identifying piece may also ride free on that day.
