Designated G20 media phone lines available
TORONTO, June 23, 2010 /CNW/ - GO Transit plans to operate regular scheduled service for GO Trains and buses this week and throughout the G20 Summit, June 25 to 27, 2010.
Commuters and media are encouraged to regularly check GO Transit's website at gotransit.com for the most up-to-date information on GO services during the Summit. Also, GO is encouraging customers to monitor their local media for updates and sign up to receive E-News text messages and email alerts about GO service.
If changes to GO Transit service are required during the Summit, these changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
From Friday, June 25 through to Sunday, June 27, all media enquiries specific to G20 and GO service levels should be directed to one of two designated media phone lines: 416.601.3643 or 416.601.3646. These temporary G20/GO service phone lines will be staffed for the duration of this time period.
