GO Transit will run earlier afternoon service on Christmas Eve and New Year's
Eve

TORONTO , Dec. 15, 2009 /CNW/ - This holiday season, GO will run special early afternoon service on Christmas Eve ( December 24 ) and New Year's Eve ( December 31 ) for passengers looking for commuting options to get home sooner. Also on New Year's Eve , GO will offer free service after 7:00 p.m. and some later adjusted schedules to get New Year's revellers home safely.

GO Transit will operate the following adjusted service over the holidays:

    
    -   Thursday, December 24 - Regular morning schedule, earlier afternoon
        rush hour with adjusted train and bus times and additional buses as
        required starting at noon
    -   Friday, December 25 - Holiday schedule
    -   Saturday, December 26 - Saturday schedule
    -   Monday, December 28 - Saturday schedule
    -   Thursday, December 31 - Regular morning schedule, earlier afternoon
        rush hour with adjusted train and bus times and additional buses as
        required starting at noon. Plus some later evening trips.
    -   Friday, January 1 - Holiday schedule
