Gold World Resources appoints Henry Calderon Director
TORONTO, July 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Gold World Resources Inc. (TSXV: GDW) or (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Henry Calderon to Director of the Company.
Mr. Calderon just recently joined the Company as advisor with respect to finance, Assembly of First Nations consultations and community relations.
Recently, Mr. Calderon attended the Assembly of First Nations meeting held in Toronto. Mr. Calderon has done extensive research on the impact of mining on local communities, especially in Peru's communities where the goal was to achieve a better standard of living. He plans to expand on this research in the Yukon community where he believes there are great opportunities for economic development based on mining including the implementation of State of the Art Technology to be backed by the Canadian Government, the Government of Yukon Territory and their respective Centers of Education.
Mr. Calderon is not salaried by the Company however the Company supports his activities through a monthly budget.
The Company would also like to report the resignation, effective July 1, 2012, of Mr. Dale M. Hendrick as Director. Management thanks Mr. Hendrick for his support and service.
