VANCOUVER, April 19 /CNW/ - Golden Dawn Minerals Inc. (GOM TSX-V) would like to clarify a recent article in the spring 2010 issue of the Mining and Exploration regarding Golden Dawn's recently optioned Attwood property in the Greenwood Mining District located eight kilometers west of Grand Forks. The article, by Kali Love, mentioned that the president of the Company, Wolf Wiese, referred to the whole mountain side as being "full of gold". However, a more appropriate statement should be that extensive areas of the hillside on the Attwood property contain widespread anomalous gold levels in soil samples, 4000 samples having been processed, and the streams draining the property contain strongly anomalous stream sediment gold values. A recently flown helicopter magnetometer and TEM electromagnetic survey, resulting in strong E.M. and Mag. anomalies coincident with the geochemical survey, provide a strong incentive to pursue gold and copper exploration on the property. Golden Dawn anticipates initiating an exploration program of mapping, a follow up sampling of rocks in the areas anomalous for gold and copper, and a selection of drill targets as soon as weather conditions permit.
