Maxxam Analytics makes significant donation to show support for Golder's charity

CALGARY, Aug. 18 /CNW/ - Golder Associates Corporation ("Golder") is delighted to announce that it has received a significant donation from Maxxam Analytics International Corporation ("Maxxam") to its global corporate charity, the Golder Trust for Orphans ("the Trust"). The $8,400 CDN donation symbolises and celebrates a very close relationship between the two firms.

Since 2003, Golder employees, clients and vendors have donated over $1 million USD to the Trust, which it has invested in sustainable development projects in Africa that have thus far improved the lives of over 1000 children in 6 African countries.

The money they have given will be invested in projects that will allow organisations on the ground in Africa to generate their own income and therefore become self-sustaining in their quest to support children who have been devastated by the AIDS pandemic."
