Brian Nichols will serve as Chair of the firm's new Tax group. Prior to joining GSNH, Brian was a founding partner of a boutique commercial firm after practicing at two leading national law firms.
He represents clients on issues relating to income tax disputes; tax and estate planning; family business succession; shareholder agreements and disputes; amalgamations and other corporate reorganisations; the purchase and sale of corporations or their businesses; and employee buyouts. Brian is experienced in dealing with both the tax and commercial aspects of these issues.

Lisa Watzinger joins GSNH LLP as an associate and member of the firm's Tax Group whose practice focuses on tax litigation and dispute resolution. As a lawyer practicing at a large accounting firm, she has appeared at all levels of the court, including the Federal Court of Appeal.
She represents mid-size corporations and high-net worth clients in resolving income tax and indirect tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and the Ontario Ministry of Finance.
Lisa is bilingual, representing her clients in both English and French.
