GoodLife Fitness Opens its doors to Ontario Residents in need during the Ice Storm Power Outages
TORONTO, Dec. 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Ontario residents recently affected by the severe winter weather and ice storm, who are experiencing power outages, are invited to use the showers and change room facilities at a GoodLife Fitness Club in their area.
Ontario residents are encouraged to visit goodlifefitness.com to find a convenient Club nearby, if they are in need.
Please note the following:
- Please call the Club (goodlifefitness.com to find Club locations and phone numbers) before travelling to ensure that the Club is not also affected by the power outages.
- Residents (over 12-years-old) will need to show Photo ID and sign a guest waiver to utilize the Club showers and change room amenities. Children under 12-years-old are welcome to use JUMP!, our child minding program during regularly scheduled hours for the JUMP! Program at each Club (JUMP! schedules can be found on goodlifefitness.com), while parents/guardians are on-site at the Club.
"We want to help any Ontario resident who has been affected by the ice storm," said David Patchell-Evans, GoodLife Fitness Founder & CEO. "We have great facilities and can provide this service, so we wanted to do something to assist those in need, especially during the holiday season. I hope that we'll be able to make a difference for some people at this time."
