Government of Canada Awards Seccuris CPSA Enabling the Company to Deliver Information Security Services to Federal Departments and Agencies

WINNIPEG, June 8, 2012 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada awarded the Cyber Protection Supply Arrangement (CPSA) under Work Stream 3 to Seccuris, positioning Seccuris as a preferred vendor to provide information assurance services to the government. The CPSA enables Seccuris to provide experienced information security professionals to the federal government. Seccuris will be offering a highly skilled and qualified team of security architects with SABSA and TOGAF designations to assist the federal government with existing and new security initiatives as part of their risk mitigation strategies in today's cyber threat environment.

Under Work Stream 3, the government hires a pool of qualified information security consultants to work on project and operational teams in government departments and agencies that have a skills shortage. The consultants assist with all facets of information risk management, including providing vulnerability assessments, development of government policies and procedures, information security engineering, security audits, and information security education programs.
