JASPER, AB, May 13, 2014 /CNW/ - Columbia Icefield, Jasper National Park, Alberta - Today, Parks Canada congratulated Brewster Travel Canada on the grand opening celebration of their Glacier Skywalk in Jasper National Park.
Visitors from across Canada and around the world can now delight in this extraordinary opportunity to soak in amazing vistas, enjoy a thrilling bird's eye view of the Sunwapta Valley on the world-renowned Columbia Icefield, and explore the unique ecological and cultural heritage that makes Jasper National Park part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For over 120 years, Brewster has been a valued partner in presenting outstanding visitor experiences and learning opportunities in Canada's mountain national parks to Canadians and visitors from around the world. Brewster Travel Canada's operations in the Icefield area make an important contribution to achieving the direction in the Jasper National Park management plan to carefully manage growth and development and advance stewardship for all areas of the Parks Canada mandate.
