Government of Canada proud to support BC First Nations economic development and land management conference Français
VANCOUVER, Dec. 12, 2017 /CNW/ - Today, the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs, congratulated the organizers and participants of Links to Learning 2017 being held in British Columbia this week. The annual technical training forum brings together economic development and land management officers from First Nations across the province to network and share expertise on building healthy, thriving communities.
Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada provided $285,000 for the event in partnership with the Council for Advancement of Native Development Officers and the National Aboriginal Lands Managers Association, and a number of other Indigenous organizations.
