DIEPPE, NB, March 27, 2014 /CNW/ - The Government of Canada has granted multi-year funding support to Productions DansEncorps through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund, to help it present the Atlantic Dance Festival Danse Atlantique in 2014 and 2015.
Robert Goguen, Member of Parliament (Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe) and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice, announced that the organization would receive $50,000 in funding over the next two years. He made the announcement today on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages Shelly Glover.
The Atlantic Dance Festival Danse Atlantique will take place from October 23 to 27, 2014, and from October 22 to 26, 2015, in Moncton. It offers a variety of performances by both seasoned and emerging professional dancers. The Festival also includes workshops/presentations and master classes, which are open to the public, and other opportunities for community involvement.
