Free online business permit and licence service cuts red tape and helps entrepreneurs save time
/CNW/ -ROSSBURN, MB, June 15, 2017 Starting and running a business in the municipality of Rossburn, Manitoba, just became easier thanks to BizPaL, an online business permit and licence service that saves time spent on paperwork and helps entrepreneurs start up faster.
The Honourable Bardish Chagger, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister of Small Business and Tourism, and the Honourable Cliff Cullen, Manitoba's Minister of Growth, Enterprise and Trade, announced the implementation of BizPaL in Rossburn Municipality, located in western Manitoba. This free online service provides a directory of the permits and licences required to start or run a business.
BizPaL saves time for business people searching for information. Entrepreneurs simply select the business activities they plan to undertake, and BizPaL then automatically generates a list of required permits and licences from all levels of government, along with basic information on each. The list also includes links to the various government websites where entrepreneurs can learn more and, in some cases, apply online.
BizPaL is managed across the province through Entrepreneurship Manitoba as part of its mandate to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship in urban, rural and northern Manitoba by supporting start-ups, developing entrepreneurial leadership capacity and ensuring programming that supports SME growth.
