OTTAWA, May 9, 2017 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will deliver a keynote address to open the 2017 Community Foundations Conference, on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 1:15 p.m., in the Grand Ballroom, of the Westin Ottawa.
The theme of this year's conference is Belonging. On this occasion, the Governor General will speak about inclusiveness and how it relates to the work being done by community foundations across the country. His Excellency will also thank the community foundations for the important role they play in making Canada a better place to live.
