OTTAWA, Sept. 14, 2015 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will be joined by Janice Charette, Clerk of the Privy Council, Secretary to the Cabinet and Head of the Public Service, to present the 2015 Public Service Award of Excellence, at Rideau Hall, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 10 a.m.
During the ceremony, 32 awards will be presented in the following categories to recipients from departments and agencies across Canada:

- 60 Years of Service Special Award
About The Public Service Award of Excellence
The Public Service Award of Excellence (PSAE) recognizes employees who have demonstrated excellence in achieving results for Canadians and who reflect the priorities of the public service, while demonstrating key leadership competencies. The award is open to individuals and teams at all levels (other than the deputy minister level).
