Her Excellency will deliver remarks during the Arctic Sustainability Summit being held in Montréal on May 23 and 24. This is the first event on the 2018 G7 calendar addressing sustainability.
As a major component of the G7 Research Summit Series throughout 2018, the Arctic Sustainability Summit will bring together Canadian and international leaders to envision a future of Arctic sustainability that gives life to the G7 Science Academies' declaration entitled The Global Arctic: the sustainability of northern communities in the context of changing ocean systems.
