Grabb Moves to B2B Space as foodora Takes on its Toronto Network
With Canada's competitive food ordering landscape rapidly expanding, a strategic consolidation is made
TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Today Grabb Mobile Inc., the first order-ahead mobile app in Toronto, announced a partnership with foodora as part of its shift to the business-to-business (B2B) space.
Grabb has experienced significant growth developing custom order-ahead software for leading Canadian companies. To continue its rapid expansion in FY18, the executive team has decided to focus solely on the enterprise space. As part of the strategic partnership, Grabb's Toronto customer and restaurant network will join foodora, the world's fastest growing food ordering platform. Grabb will retain its intellectual property and software to continue expanding its B2B solutions.
"As Toronto's first order-ahead app, it's important to work with a company that will continue to provide our restaurant partners with premium business support, and offer our customers a well-designed product and expansive selection of choices," says Kabir Daswani, chief executive officer and founder of Grabb. "foodora has quickly become a favourite local service, and we're proud to work with them."
The partnership comes at an optimal time as foodora recently launched a pick-up feature in Toronto, becoming a one-stop shop for customers looking for food delivery or pick-up.
"We're excited to partner with a Toronto-built startup to strengthen our presence in the pick-up space," says David Albert, managing director of foodora Canada. "This move will provide our customers with an even larger selection of local quality restaurants to choose from."
The transition will become effective immediately. For more information, visit: www.grabb.ca/blog
