Grammy Award-Winning Sugarland to Appear at Fallsview
NIAGARA FALLS, ON, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - Fallsview Casino's entertainment gets a little sweeter as multi Grammy award-winning duo Sugarland joins the concert line-up in April. Featuring lead vocalist Jennifer Nettles and guitarist Kristian Bush, Sugarland will perform for two nights at the Avalon Theatre on April 10 and 11.
Since their multi-platinum debut album, Twice the Speed of Life, in 2004, the dynamic country-music duo has sold over eight million records and produced five Number-One hit singles, including "Want To", "Settlin", "All I Want to Do", "Already Gone", and "It Happens". Sugarland has also been nominated for and received numerous major music awards from the Academy of Country Music, American Music Awards, Grammy Awards, CMT Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards, among many others.
With the latest release of their fourth album The Incredible Machine, inspired by the music and films of the '80s, the duo of Nettles and Bush continues to garner a widening fan base, offering a unique blend of country and other musical genres reflected in the leadoff single "Stuck Like Glue".
In April, Sugarland joins previously announced performers including Air Supply, John Schneider & Tom Wopat, Sanremo V Edition, World Rock Symphony Orchestra, and singer-songwriters Bob DiPiero, Tim Nichols, Lee Miller and Dean Dillon.
