Grand Prize Winner of Home Hardware $50,000 Ultimate Backyard Makeover
Contest Announced
ST. JACOBS, ON, July 21 /CNW/ - This summer, Stewart Sebben's backyard will receive a $50,000 overhaul thanks to Home Hardware's $50,000 Ultimate Backyard Makeover Contest. The contest, which ran across Canada from April 5 until May 30, saw more than 500,000 Canadians submit ballots in hopes of receiving the dream makeover.

"$50,000 combined with the quality products, exceptional service and advice of Home Hardware will create a backyard retreat that will bring years of enjoyment for Stewart and his family."
The grand prize can be used for a major project, such as a new deck, shed or interlocking brick; and, other backyard items such as a barbecue, patio set and planters. Stewart received the prize today at a special celebration ceremony at his local Home Hardware in Orangeville, Ontario.
"I was extremely excited when I found out I was the Grand Prize Winner," said Sebben. "I can't wait for the makeover to get underway and with all of the amazing products Home Hardware has to offer, I can't wait to show-off my new backyard to family and friends."
To enter Home Hardware's Ultimate Backyard Makeover Contest customers across Canada were encouraged to submit a ballot by mail, in-store or online between April 5th and May 30th. One entrant was randomly selected as the Grand Prize Winner. One entrant was awarded the second place prize of a rechargeable riding lawnmower, ten entrants won Yardman Lawnmowers and one hundred entrants were awarded a Beauti-Tone Woodshield certificate.
