Toronto's premier distributor of premium automobiles to display multi-million-dollar Aston Martin One-77 and Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at Canadian International Auto Show, expands dealer network with four new locations
TORONTO, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - In the lead-up to the 39th Canadian International Auto Show (CIAS) opening this week, Grand Touring Automobiles (GTA) of Toronto is pleased to announce a pair of ultra-exclusive national debuts and exciting expansion news for its suite of discerning automotive customers.
GTA is the official dealer partner of Aston Martin Lagonda and Bugatti Automobiles and will display both of their top models on the show floor during the CIAS.
The Aston Martin One-77 is the famed British sports car company's ultimate supercar. Capable of producing 750 horsepower, it is built around a full carbon-fibre monocoque produced in conjunction with the automotive specialists and Multimatic (MTC) of Canada. Though the One-77 will not be sold in our market, the special pre-production car on display with some 22,500 kilometres will highlight the extensive development carried out on the project.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is simply put, the planet's fastest and most luxurious open-top car. Priced at $2.1 million dollar (US), only 150 examples will be hand-built, wearing a removable glass roof and powered by the most powerful engine in a production vehicle available in Canada. The 16-cylinders, quad-turbocharged powerplant makes 1,001 horsepower and can accelerate the Grand Sport from 0-100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and achieve 407 km/h.
Grand Touring Automobiles is also pleased to officially announce an expansion into four new locations, a first in the company's storied history. Joining the distinguished flagship showroom in downtown Toronto are: a new super-luxury showroom in Maple to better service Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti and Rolls-Royce clients in Northwest Toronto; two Volvo stores - Volvo of Toronto and Robert Motors in Etobicoke; and, one of the Greater Toronto Area's most successful Jaguar dealerships, Robert Jaguar.
"We could not be more excited about these announcements," said Paul Cummings, Chairman and CEO of Grand Touring Automobiles. "Not only are we affording Canadians the rare opportunity to see the Aston Martin One-77 and Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, two of the world's most exotic automobiles in the sheetmetal, our new stores will allow us to reach out and supports customers like we never have before.
