Grande première: the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés will
organize the first World Human Resources Congress in Canada and launches the
Congress program

MONTREAL , Jan. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - The Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés is proud to announce that it is organizing the 13th World Human Resources Congress, which will be held in Montreal from September 27 to 29, 2010, and to launch the Congress program today.

The Ordre was delighted to accept the challenge of organizing this exceptional event, at the request of the World Federation of People Management Associations and on behalf of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations and the North American Human Resource Management Association. It promises to be a unique occasion for the profession and for Quebec as a whole.

It is highly unlikely that an event of this kind will be held again in Canada within the next 30 years.

Entitled HR Without Limits, the Congress will address various themes such as leadership, change and innovation, talent, engagement, the environment and corporate responsibility, health and wellness, labour relations, branding, the new world of work, effectiveness, personal equity and diversity.

The Congress will be attended by close to 3,500 HR management professionals from the four corners of the globe.

Showcasing Canadian expertise

This prestigious Congress will enable CHRPs from Quebec and the rest of Canada to demonstrate their people management expertise.

Hosted by Stephan Bureau, the Congress offers an Exhibitors' Hall with 175 exhibitors, an exceptional evening's entertainment and, of course, a wide variety of presentations by world-renowned experts., Henry Mintzberg, Chantal Petitclerc, Don Tapscott , the Cirque du Soleil's Murielle Cantin, Vice-President, People and Organization and Marie-Josée Guilbaut, CHRP, Vice-President, Human Resources, as well as celebrated artist Gregory Charles are just some of the personalities that will be featured. In all, over 80 sessions will be offered in English, French and Spanish.
