Grands Prix of the Young Business Leaders' Gala: RJCCQ's 25th special edition, all the way to the top !

MONTREAL, March 2, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The Coalition of the Young Chambers of Commerce in Québec (RJCCQ), is pleased to announce the launch of its annual Grands Prix of the Young Business Leaders' Gala on June 21^st 2017, at the Gelber Conference Centre in Montreal. Mr. Louis Vachon, President and CEO of the National Bank of Canada will be the Honorary President of the event. The 2017 edition is organized in collaboration with the Montreal Jewish Chamber of Commerce and will be part of the RJCCQ's 25^th anniversary celebrations.

As it has been the tradition for the last editions, the RJCCQ will honor young entrepreneurs, executives, self-employed workers and professionals, who have excelled in their respective sector throughout the year. The Gala will bring together 37 Young Chambers of Commerce, all members of the RJCCQ across the Province of Québec.

Mr. Monsef Derraji, CEO of the RJCCQ, stated that "This edition will have a special flavor. The RJCCQ is, after all, celebrating a quarter of a century of existence! This will bring our members, wherever they are from in Québec, at the forefront and the spotlight to praise their success and underline how they have distinguished themselves in 2016-2017. It is of the upmost importance that young business leaders be rewarded for their successes in order to inspire others with their entrepreneurial leadership and excellence."

The Jewish Chamber of Commerce's Co-presidents, Erik Langburt and Scott Rozansky are delighted to be co-hosting the RJCCQ Gala with the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs-Québec in the Jewish community center. Erik Langburt said "What a great opportunity for the Jewish community to collaborate on this event during Federation CJA's centennial year and the 375^th anniversary of Montreal". Both organizations are looking forward to hosting and entertaining everyone on June 21^st, 2017, for an amazing evening honouring entrepreneurship across the Province of Quebec.

The Grands Prix of the Young Business Leaders' Gala will reward people who will submit their application in the 12 following categories:

• Buyer of the Year (successful business transfer)
• SME or Start-up of the Year – Social economy
• SME or Start-up of the Year – International markets
• SME or Start-up of the Year – Technology
• Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year
• SME – Retail
• Woman Leadership Award
• Executive of the Year (Vice-president or Senior Executive)
• Young Administrator (Board of Directors, advisory committee, NFP or SME)
• Youth Chamber of Commerce or Youth Wing of the Year*
• Volunteer of the Year*
• Activity of the Year*
