Grant Park Hearing Centre Joins Starkey Hearing Foundation To Deliver the Gift of Hearing
WINNIPEG, March 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Grant Park Hearing Centre is excited to announce that Kevin McNabb will be traveling with Starkey Hearing Foundation to Ramallah, Tul Karem and Hebron in Israel to deliver free hearing aids to children and adults in need. More than 2,400 people are projected to receive the gift of hearing.
For eight days, Grant Park Hearing Centre will help the Starkey Hearing Foundation team of audiologists and staff deliver hearing care and fit each of the recipients with their very own customized, hearing device.
"We are so excited to be joining Starkey Hearing Foundation for the ninth time on this mission," said Kevin McNabb. "The Foundation uses hearing as a vehicle to reflecting caring and change lives around the world. We here at Grant Park Hearing are honored to do our part in delivering the gift of hearing to those in need."
Starkey Hearing Foundation's Israel mission is just one of the many hearing missions that are conducted throughout the year to deliver the gift of hearing around the world. Starkey Hearing Foundation gives more than 100,000 hearing aids to people in need each year and has pledged to fit one million hearing aids this decade.
