Great Gulf Styles its Service Team with Help from Toronto's Bustle Clothing
TORONTO, April 15, 2013 /CNW/ - Off the heels of Bustle Clothing's successful menswear show at MasterCard Fashion Week, Great Gulf is pleased to announce that it has selected the Toronto designers to create custom uniforms for its frontline service team. The uniforms, currently in development, are being designed to reflect Great Gulf's revamped branding and to ensure that right from the moment people walk into a sales centre to the time they move into their new home, there is a consistent brand image reflecting leading-edge design.
"Exceptional design is one of Great Gulf's core values and a key differentiator for us in the crowded real estate development market. As such, every business decision we make is carefully considered from a design perspective, including what frontline service team wears," said Tad Putyra, President and Chief Operating Officer of Low-Rise Development at Great Gulf. "We've charged Bustle Clothing with creating clothing that reinforces our focus on design, a value that extends beyond project development through to the customer lifecycle."
Great Gulf selected the Toronto fashion duo for their refreshing approach to design and their commitment to excellent tailoring. While the uniforms are still in the early concept phase, a number of silhouettes and colours are being considered. The designs will ultimately be based on a number of criteria, including how well they speak to Great Gulf's Live Greatly brand promise and for their design aesthetic.
"To me, the Great Gulf brand represents superior quality, attention to detail and excellence in customer experience," said Shawn Hewson, Creative Director at Bustle Clothing. "Recognizing Great Gulf's commitment to its reinvigorated brand, we will recreate a staff uniform that in addition to being durable, comfortable, and professional, represents a refreshed sense of style."
Great Gulf's frontline service team will be sporting the new uniforms as they head into work this fall, including site superintendents, managers, coordinators, inspectors along with various pieces for its construction team (e.g. labourers and handymen).
"The stylish, sophisticated and fun uniforms will showcase our commitment to design aesthetic by bringing it to life through our employees," said Jacqueline Staub, Director of Marketing at Great Gulf. "This partnership with Bustle Clothing is a great example of Great Gulf's commitment to giving back to the city by supporting talent of Toronto designers."
Over the past 35 years, Great Gulf has significantly evolved and grown to be a successful and respected builder in Canada, working on many high-profile projects. As a result of this growth, the company initiated a rebranding last April to raise its profile in Canada and reinforce its guiding principle to Live Greatly.
