TORONTO , Dec. 2 /CNW/ - On Thursday, December 3rd , Silverwood Flooring will unveil its new showroom featuring luxury environmental design, including an exclusive line of 100% recycled pressed glass mosaic tile from Spain made entirely from scrap glass as raw materials.

"Environmentally friendly does not have to mean 'beige' or boring and you certainly don't need to sacrifice good design while practicing environmental responsibility" said Silverwood president, Tamar Royt. "Our new showroom is entirely dedicated to this concept".

The invitation-only "Green is Glamorous" cocktail reception, 6-9pm, will be attended by leading Canadian developers, designers and architects and will be held at Silverwood's new flagship location at Castlefield and Caledonia.

The event will mark the official Canadian launch of Vidrepur of Spain's 100% recycled pressed glass tile and Italy's Industria Parquet Fabriano's luxury handmade hardwood floors.
