HALIFAX, April 8 /CNW/ - Howard Green, anchor of "Headline", Canada's primetime business interview program on the Business News Network (BNN) as of today has been announced Conference Chair of the 5th Annual Renewable Energy Conference, April 27 & 28th , 2010, Halifax Nova Scotia.

Over thirty renewable energy experts from across Canada and New England will present at the conference being held at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax.

Over 220 industry delegates are expected to attend presentations on this year's theme of "Powering Investments". Keynote and panel sessions over the two day event will include the "Gateway Energy Corridor to the US", the ramifications of the NB Power - Hydro Quebec no-deal, "Catalysts for Wind Projects" along with biomass & bioenergy, Bay of Fundy Tidal Project review, an overview on feed-in tariffs, solar, and geothermal projects.
