Greg Miller
, a semiconductor industry finance veteran will be joining Gennum in the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
With more than 30 years experience in various high technology organizations,
Greg Miller
brings a unique background of financial expertise to his new role of CFO at Gennum.
Mr. Miller
's experience managing the financial organizations of publicly traded semiconductor companies provides a strong base of knowledge and experience for his role at Gennum.
Mr. Miller
has a successful track record with WJ Communications, California Micro Devices, LSI Logic, National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments.
Gord Currie, Gennum's current Senior Vice-President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer will be assisting with the transition of the role to
Mr. Miller
effective later this month, and will take early retirement from the Company in
April 2010
following the annual meeting of shareholders. Since joining Gennum in 2005,
Mr. Currie
has been instrumental in leading the Company through the realignment of its business to focus on core content creation and transmission markets, successfully overseeing the finance function, business acquisitions and disposition activities during this period.
