Greyhound Adds Stop At Toronto Pearson International Airport
DALLAS, April 20, 2017 /CNW/ -- Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, today announced that it now offers service at a new location in Toronto. Greyhound customers can now conveniently travel to and from the Toronto Pearson International Airport, offering easy access to multiple modes of transportation under one roof. With more than 20 daily schedules from its location in Terminal 1 at the airport, customers can travel to various Ontario destinations, including Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener and Niagara Falls, as well as to destinations in the United States such as Chicago and New York, ultimately connecting to Greyhound's extensive network of 3,800 destinations.
"We're excited to offer service at the Toronto Pearson International Airport," said Stuart Kendrick, senior vice president, Greyhound Canada. "The airport location, which is an additional location to our downtown station, offers a great benefit for customers, as it provides seamless connectivity for residents who live in communities without access to air travel. It provides the best of both worlds in one location."
"At Toronto Pearson, passengers are our passion and we're committed to enhancing convenience at every touchpoint of the journey," said Scott Collier, Vice President, Customer and Terminal Services at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority. "This partnership with Greyhound Canada will give passengers more options when planning travel to and from the airport, and is part of our larger vision of reducing road congestion and facilitating the efficient movement of people and goods. This will help Toronto Pearson reach its full growth potential and allow the Southern Ontario region to avail itself of the significant economic benefits that are part and parcel of this growth."
From the new location, Greyhound travelers will experience a safe, and comfortable trip on modern buses with onboard amenities, including free onboard Wi-Fi, power outlets, extra legroom and reclining leather seats. Greyhound Package Express, the company's expedited shipping service, is available to customers from the new location as well.
Customers can board and purchase tickets from the kiosk, on the ground level at Terminal 1, Door P, during operating hours from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.greyhound.ca, or over the phone at 1-800-661-8747.
