Greyhound Canada Expands Express Service In Ontario, Quebec And Alberta
Premium Service Featuring Modern Fleet, Reserved Seats, Free Wi-Fi and Fares as Low as $1 Launches July 10
BURLINGTON, Ontario, July 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Greyhound Canada today announced the expansion of Greyhound Express® — the company's premium city-to-city service—to three new markets in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta, with service starting July 10. New markets include Ottawa, Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Grande Prairie, Alberta.
With these new routes, Greyhound Express continues to offer the largest network of express service, offering more than 900 potential direct-service intercity pairs in more than 100 markets in North America. Tickets are now on sale at www.mygreyhoundexpress.ca, with everyday fares starting at $1.
Following are the new Greyhound Express routes, starting July 10:
- Toronto – Ottawa: Five daily round trips during the week with increased service on Friday and Sunday totaling nine round trips those days
- Ottawa – Montreal: Six daily round trips during the week with increased service on Friday and Sunday totaling 13 total round trips those days
- Edmonton – Grande Prairie: One daily round trip
"With this new route to Montreal and extended service from our Edmonton and Toronto hubs, we're expanding our premium city-to-city Express service to serve more customers with everyday affordable fares to their favorite destinations this summer," said Stuart Kendrick, senior vice president, Greyhound Canada. Customers can buy their Express ticket online to take advantage of discount pricing, print their ticket at home and know a guaranteed seat is waiting for them. Additionally, Express customers can relax in private waiting areas, protected from the elements in a secure environment, with a dedicated guest services specialist to provide an extra level of customer assistance. All tickets are nonrefundable.
