Groundbreaking online series Life Unjarred turns kitchen novice into

TORONTO, Sept. 16 /CNW/ - Kitchens across Canada won't know what hit them as pans start to sizzle and ovens heat up with the highly anticipated fall premiere of VH-sponsored Life Unjarred, a series of comedic webisodes that follow one every day stay-at-home dad, Randy Mathews, his French Canadian wife Natalie and their son Jack as they stumble into the world of unexpected celebrity status.

Life Unjarred starts innocently enough. One day while Randy is barbecuing salmon for dinner, his son Jack - who is never far from his camcorder - video tapes Randy goofing around.  Unbeknownst to Randy, Jack adds it to a collection of other videos he has posted on his YouTube page. Before you can say Blackened Tandoori Salmon with Pineapple Salsa, Randy is an Internet sensation and VH is ready to recruit him as their new spokesperson.

Written by television veteran Terry McGurrin, directed by Brett Heard and starring acclaimed actor Jefferson Brown, the recipient of the Male Achievement in Acting Prize at the 2007 Canadian Filmmakers Festival, Life Unjarred takes an everyday dad to new culinary heights. Viewers can also play chef-in-training at home with easy-to-prepare recipes featured in every episode. The series also stars MJ Colbourn who plays Randy's wife Natalie and Sam Barringer, as Randy's son Jack.

VH Sauces, along with Fresh Baked Branded Entertainment, have teamed up to produce this hilarious, heart-warming, recipe-driven online series.
