After 3 Acquisitions in 4 Years, Groupe Gardium Consolidates its Dominant Position in the Investigative Field in Quebec
MONTREAL, Feb. 14, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Today, the new president and CEO of Groupe Gardium, Dany Laflamme, announced the acquisition of Enquêtes spécialisées de l'Estrie inc. The latter provides services in the Eastern Townships, Bois-Francs and Montreal regions. The acquisition, for which the terms have not been revealed, enables Groupe Gardium to consolidate its dominant position in the investigative field in Quebec.
Founded in 2002, Groupe Gardium is recognized for its expertise in the fields of investigation, security management in work related conflicts and guard services. "The investigation and surveillance market is undergoing a consolidation phase in Quebec. The acquisition of Enquêtes spécialisées de l'Estrie inc. is an opportunity for our organization to ensure our position as leaders in the investigative field and to grow with the addition of important clients" affirms Dany Laflamme, President and CEO of Groupe Gardium.
Of note, Groupe Gardium had already purchased in 2008 the private investigation firms McCleery & Associés and Groupe Cantin Geoffrion.

According to Patrick Hall, President of Enquêtes spécialisées de l'Estrie inc., this acquisition by Groupe Gardium represents a new challenge for his company, in that it provides access to a very important market. "Groupe Gardium is a leader in its field in Quebec. The opportunity, which has been granted to me, to integrate our expertise within this company is a sign of confidence and recognition that we will satisfy" states Patrick Hall, who will hold the position of advisor to the President at Groupe Gardium.
